SynaptiQ Release Note -  April 2019

Improved analysis tooltips

Analysis tooltips are structured in a better way to provide all relevant information at a glance.  E.g. for an indicator of an inverter, the inverter type, the inverter serial number and its capacity are displayed; a DC level indicator will show the module group name next to its capacity.

Energy Performance Index as key indicator

Solar Power Europe O&M Best Practice Guidelines and other international experts value the use of a simulation model as a reference in the operational phase.  In order to facilitate your use of this powerful built-in feature of SynaptiQ, we extend the list of simulation-based indicators: Energy Performance Index, Energy Specific Simulation, Power AC Simulation, Power AC Specific Simulation.  Check them out in the analysis and the help section.

Sensor threshold alarms

At sensor object level, you can now define simple threshold based alarms.  Typical use cases are overtemperature in a substation or windspeed warnings in case of bad weather.

Horizon shading applied to satellite irradiation data

As from now on, satellite irradiation data in SynaptiQ takes horizon shading from the surrounding hills into account.  This merely impacts satellite irradiation data for most locations in Europe. However, in mountaineous areas horizon shading can impact irradiation both in a positive as a negative sense.

Intervention management customization

Intervention categories are now dependent on the contract type you have assigned per plant.  For each category type you can define the intervention form by its fields and the field types.
In this way, you can create checklists for preventive maintenance, cleaning, inverter replacement, ...

Easier user management

Account administrators managing large amounts of SynaptiQ users will be happy to find an easy way to filter and sort users. With this release the list of users includes a free-text search filter on user role and it can be sorted in alphabetical order based on “Login”, “Full name”, “Email” and “Role” columns.

We hope you will enjoy the new functionalities and to welcome you for the Webinar next Tuesday May 7th at 10 AM CET:
